Explosions in the Sky makes time for Coachella & SF

Explosions in the Sky announced its tour dates Tuesday and while Coachella Music & Art Festival was listed twice — the band will be performing the Coachella Fridays — it looks like the band will squeeze in some time to give the San Francisco Bay Area love between the two-weekends.

Being from the Bay, I think that’s pretty awesome … though I know quite a few friends back home who will be taking advantage of Virgin America’s Coachella flight deals to make it down south for the valley’s most epic musical experience:

Virgin America has added a flight from San Francisco to Palm Springs on April 12, citing strong demand for air service by fans of the popular 2012 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

A return flight to San Francisco International Airport, offered on April 16, has been added as well. -The Desert Sun

So, my point is: if you’re a diehard Explosions in the Sky fan and feel like getting the SoCal and NorCal experience, more power to ya!
