Bon Iver ‘kind of says (expletive) you a little bit’ to Grammys

So Bon Iver  declined a request to perform at the Grammys Feb. 26.

Thanks, but no thanks?

Not exactly.

Billboard reported that the  frontman of the indie folk band, Justin Vernon, didn’t appreciate being asked to perform alongside another artist:

“Me and Brian [Joseph] and a bunch of our (expletive) friends and we were given accolades for it, and all of a sudden we were being asked to play music that had nothing to do with that. We kind of said ‘(expletive) you’ a little bit.”

Bon Iver is set to perform (can we assume without special guests?) both Saturdays of Coachella. The band is nominated for four Grammys.
